About Mitosaurus
What is Mitosaurus?
Mitosaurus is a creative universe and brand built around original characters, art, and storytelling. At its heart is Mito, a cat-dinosaur hybrid, based on a real life cat.
Why the name Mitosaurus?
The name comes from the cat Mito, the main character, combined with “-saurus” to highlight her dinosaur traits. Mitosaurus is completely original and not related to Star Wars or any other franchise.
Is Mitosaurus the same as Mythosaurus?
No. Mitosaurus is an original brand created around Mito the cat-dinosaur hybrid. Mythosaur (sometimes called Mythosaurus) is a creature from the Star Wars franchise. They are not connected in any way.

Products & Customization
What if I love a design but don’t see it on the product I want?
If you find a design or artwork you love but it’s not available on the product you prefer (for example, a different style of shirt, hoodie, tote bag, or color), you can send us a request at the end of this page. We’ll do our best to make it available for you. Custom product requests help us expand our shop and make sure you can enjoy your favorite Mitosaurus designs exactly how you like them.
Can I request other colors of clothing?
Yes! If you don’t see the option you’d like, just reach out to us and let us know which design, product type, and color you’re looking for. We’ll check if it’s possible and update you. Use the contact form at the bottom of this page to send your request.
What if I’m not sure what size would fit me?
No problem! Check the size guide on each product page first. If you’re still unsure, just reach out via the contact form at the bottom of this page, and we’ll help you find the perfect fit.
Do you use AI to create Mitosaurus designs?
No! All Mitosaurus artwork is original and created by our artists, whether it’s hand-drawn or digitally designed. We do not use AI to generate our designs.

What is the Mitosaurus Artist Spotlight?
The Artist Spotlight celebrates the talented artists, brands, and creatives we’ve collaborated with. It’s a place to showcase their work, tell their stories, and highlight the designs behind Mitosaurus products.
How do collaborations work?
When you see Mitosaurus × [Name] on a product, it means we partnered with that artist or brand to create it. Sometimes the artwork is made by us, sometimes by the collaborator, but every piece is a true creative partnership.
Can I collaborate with Mitosaurus?
The Artist Spotlight is invitation-based. If you’re an artist or brand interested in collaborating with Mitosaurus, you can reach out to us — we’re always looking for new talent.
What kind of collaborations do you do?
Collaborations may include artwork, designs, storytelling, or creative contributions that expand the world of Mitosaurus.

Return policy
Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn't the case, let us know and we'll do our best to work with you to make it right.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping usually takes between 5–15 business days, depending on where you live. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information.
Can I return or exchange items?
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us and we’ll make it right. For other cases, please see the return policy on our shop page.
